Emergency Shelter:

When a client meets Safe Haven Admission criteria the client and their children are admitted to the Shelter.
While at the Shelter clients and their families are provided with basic needs and a full variety of services.

Safe Haven provides a 24 hour hotline the hotline is available anytime to assist you with your needs.
Our trained advocates are there to listen, help and guide you in making informed decisions for you and your family future.
Information about Sheltering, safety planning, financial and professional services, legal aid, mental health issues, children services and other options are given by the Hotline callers.

Counseling:

Safe Havens provide group and individual counseling sessions to clients.
Topics covered in groups sessions are tailored to client's need and include: dynamics of Domestic Violence Impact of Domestic Violence on children.

Education:

Domestic Violence victims often do not identify themselves as such. It is very important that individuals throughout the community are educated about all forms of abuse.
Safe Haven is bringing awareness to the community through printed materials, training and education sessions.

Outreach:

Outreach services include counseling, support groups, personal advocacy, relocation assistance and criminal/civil justice advocacy.
